SUFFER IS PASSION – PASSION IS SUFFER BY ANTHONY LEBARIO

21 YEAR-OLD ASPIRING CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON DISCUSSES NOT BEING ABLE TO AFFORD FURTHERING EDUCATION.

Earlier this year, YoungXGifted’s founder Danielle Tsiba-Membi came across a tweet by a 21-year-old soon-to-be first-time dad Anthony Lebario, on the harsh reality of unnecessary high tuition fees in America. Although wanting to further his education, Anthony expressed that he was unable to simply because he couldn’t afford it. See the tweet above.

Many young people face the same problem of not having the finances to pay for their education. Moved by the tweet Danielle decided to contact him and ask if he would be willing to touch deeper on the subject – A subject so crucial to address for our generation.

This is his story and his message to anyone else in the same situation:

MIKE. P. CANVAS.

ARTIST AND MUSICIAN MIKE. P. CANVAS. SHARES HIS LOVE FOR THE ARTS AND HIS INSPIRATIONS.

Mike P. Canvas is a 25-year-old artist and musician from Virginia, USA. Although Mike is his real name, most people for a long time knew him as “P.U.S.H” – an acronym that stood for “pray until something happens”. This is where the letter “P” in Mike P. Canvas came from and Canvas simply from his passion for art. Altogether through his name, he wants people to recognise him for who he really is (Mike), his drive to be successful and work for what he wants (P.U.S.H.), and for his love for the arts (Canvas).

The basis of the questions was mainly to do with why the platform was created, Danielle’s views on the issues in youth culture, and what she envision the YoungXGifted movement to become. The YoungXGifted feature  is found on page 2 of the magazine:
