INDEPENDENT ARTIST TAHIR REGISTER DEBUTS HIS NEW SINGLE: “TELL THE TRUTH.”

Tahir Register is a 25-year-old independent artist and founder of theblackmedia.org, born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. His new single “Tell The Truth” – a socially conscience, thumping record about truth and sacrifice was released on the 8th of June; a part of his upcoming EP titled: “Black Canvas”.

The multi-talented artist not only writes, produces, arrange, and masters his own music, but he also creates his own artwork to go along with it.

“It’s not easy when you don’t want to wait for others to help you, give you anything or believe in you. Sometimes if you have the gift to, just figure it out on your own. I’ve been doing photography for years because of that. I take all of my promo photos, edit them on Photoshop, shot my own videos, edited them myself and more…”

As he gears up to release his EP “Black Canvas” this summer, Tahir says that this project has been one of his “best work lyrically and production wise”. In his recent featured video – Behind The Talent, Tahir opens up about his single and how it all came together.
